"Jack Sparrow doesn't smile"

I finished the Jack Sparrow costume for my son. I think it turned out really awesome! Actually, I was surprised at how well it turned out. However, when my son put it on last night, he didn't crack a smile. I asked him if he liked it and he said "Ya... it's good", in a ho-hum sort of way. I asked him if there was something wrong with it, and he said, "nothing". Finally, I got really frustrated and said, "Sweetie, if you like it, and there's nothing wrong with it, why don't you smile?"

"Jack Sparrow doesn't smile."

Oh. Ok!

Erin, it turned out AWESOME!

The only problem is: You did it TOO good. Everyone is going to think it was store-bought because it looks so perfect!

LOL

I thought that Jack Sparrow smiled a lot. I guess just Eason's version doesn't.

I'd like to thank you so much for telling Wes how easy it would be to cover his motorcycle boots so they could be swash-buckler boots. In truth, it wasn't that hard, but I got a similar response. "Well, they're not quite what I thought they would be." It took all my self control to not punch my husband. Maybe he would have been happier if you made them. He kept telling me to call you.
