You don't know what I'm feeling...

My husband and his sister used to do this thing when whey were little- they'd get really close to the other's ear and whisper "You don't know what I'm feeling..."- kinda creepy, I know! (so is my random punctuation- I just can't seem to remember exactly where to put commas and dashes with quotation marks... but that's another blog for another day.)

But, it's funny how often I want to do that to people I think might be judging me. Don't you ever feel like people might be judging you? Well, maybe I'm just paranoid that way. Oh, I don't feel the need to change my behavior or who I am for fear someone won't like me, but sometimes I do feel like I'm being judged wrongly. I just want to lean over and whisper "You dont' know what I'm feeling..."

Of course, then I might be judged as really creepy, which.... I would be!

Through this crazy crazy year with Jotham's career, I wish I could scream this to people! Life is hard, and we can never make our feelings match with anyone elses. Or tell people how they should feel, etc.

Today Erin, I don't know what you are feeling, but whatever it is...I hope you can embrace it, hold it close to your chest, and come out for the better because of it.

You crack me up! I wouldn't judge you as creepy if you whispered that in my ear...I might have before reading this, but definitely not now!

Sidenote: aren't blogs and facebook the place to use any punctuation you want without regard to what is actually correct? For instance, I don't actually use ... in any writing except for my blog and status updates, which you probably wouldn't know based on reading those things. :) Maybe I am wrong and I need to start whipping out my AP styleguide before posting. Maybe they need a Blogger Styleguide...hmmm.
