What am I in for???

I reeeeaaaalllly have a hankering to crochet these:

I just bought the pattern online at Etsy (the online shopping community I ADORE!) and I'm ready to go pick out my yarn and start crocheting.

The only problem is....

I "fake" crochet. That is to say, I remember a basic stitch my grandma taught me years ago when I was like 9,  and I make up other stitches I sort-of remember, and I get by ok.

However, I have NO idea how to read a crocheting pattern.

So, was my $5.50 a waste of money? Well.... that remains to be seen.

I'll let you know how it goes.

You can do it! Do you need sizing models because I have some little girls that would look oh.so.cute in these! :)

So cute! Let me know where you bought the pattern. I might need it too. I have a crochet instructional DVD if you need it, or I always search on youtube if I get stuck on a stitch!

If all else fails, you can lend me the pattern and I can crochet them for you. They are super cute!

I have a GREAT book that helps you remember or teaches you the pattern stiches. Another reason why we HAVE to go to lunch! This next week is actually pretty good for me! Let me know if there is a day that works for you!

These are the cutest things I've ever seen. Horray for Etsy. I fake crochet too but I found youtube could teach this old dog a few new tricks. Good luck.
